Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled HTML & CSS WordPress Designer/Developer to create visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate should have experience in both custom WordPress development and working with pre-built templates/themes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Customize WordPress themes and templates based on project requirements
- Build fully responsive and mobile-friendly website layouts
- Convert design mockups (Figma, PSD, etc.) into WordPress websites
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO
- Troubleshoot and fix layout or styling issues
- Collaborate with designers and content teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with WordPress (custom themes and template customization)
- Understanding of responsive design principles
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of PHP and WordPress theme development
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Understanding of website performance optimization
