Job Title: Endodontist
Job Summary
The Endodontist is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp, root canals, and surrounding tissues. The role involves performing advanced endodontic procedures to preserve natural teeth, relieve pain, and support overall oral health.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose pulpal and periapical conditions through clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging.
* Perform root canal treatments and endodontic retreatments.
* Manage dental trauma cases involving teeth and supporting structures.
* Perform endodontic surgical procedures, including apicoectomies when indicated.
* Interpret radiographs, CBCT scans, and other diagnostic tests.
* Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
* Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to provide integrated patient care.
* Maintain accurate and complete patient records and treatment documentation.
* Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
* Stay current with advancements in endodontic techniques, materials, and technologies.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
* Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
* Valid dental registration/license as required by applicable regulations.
*Required Skills*
* Expertise in endodontic diagnosis and treatment.
* Proficiency in microscopic endodontics and rotary instrumentation.
* Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and patient management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
