Key Responsibilities-
- Receive rendered architectural drawings and convert them into greyscale base files for lighting planning.
- Overlay lighting fixture layouts, suggest appropriate fixture types and positions based on design intent and functionality.
- Prepare comprehensive AutoCAD drawings, including looping, circuiting, and switching diagrams for lighting systems.
- Ensure accurate representation of lighting symbols, codes, and technical specifications as per project standards.
- Collaborate with architects and lighting designers to ensure technical feasibility and design accuracy.
- Assist in creating lighting plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings as per project requirements.
- Maintain CAD libraries and ensure all drawing documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.
- Coordinate with internal teams for revisions, markups, and documentation updates.
- Ensure that all drawings align with industry standards and project-specific guidelines.
- Support project documentation efforts, including BOQs, schedules, and data sheets.
Skills Required –
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related technical field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp and Revit is a plus.
- Understanding of lighting layouts, architectural detailing, and technical documentation.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to drawing and documentation.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
