Understanding of India’s AI ecosystem, IndiaAI Mission, digital public infrastructure, startup ecosystem, IT services, GCCs, and enterprise AI adoption.

Familiarity with global Responsible AI standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, OECD AI Principles, UNESCO AI Ethics Recommendation, and the EU AI Act.

Exposure to AI risk assessment, model evaluation, AI assurance, privacy compliance, data governance, technology audit, or Responsible AI implementation.

Experience working with industry associations, think tanks, consulting firms, government bodies, technology companies, or research institutions will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical thinking, high ownership, excellent writing ability, attention to detail, and comfort in working across policy, technology, legal, and business teams. The person should be able to manage multiple deliverables, engage senior stakeholders, and bring a balanced approach that supports innovation while addressing risks related to bias, privacy, safety, misuse, accountability, and societal impact.
