Cluster Head – Khushiyon Ki Paatshala (KKP)

Engagement: Full-time or Part-time
Working Hours:
- Full-time: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Part-time: Minimum 5 hours per day; suitable candidates may be considered based on availability and role fit
About the Role
The Cluster Head will be responsible for leading and managing three Khushiyon Ki Paatshala (KKP) Centres. The role involves ensuring strong academic delivery, supporting teachers, improving student attendance and learning outcomes, managing centre operations, and building positive relationships with parents and the community.
The Cluster Head will work closely with teachers, students, parents, and the KKP Head to ensure that every centre provides a safe, engaging, disciplined, and child-friendly learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Manage and oversee the smooth functioning of three KKP Centres.
- Plan and monitor academic calendars, lesson plans, timetables, and class schedules.
- Ensure teachers follow the curriculum and use engaging, activity-based teaching methods.
- Teach Mathematics and Science for Classes V to IX when required.
- Create an inclusive, disciplined, and enjoyable learning environment for students.
Teacher Support and Development
- Observe classrooms and identify areas where teachers need support.
- Mentor teachers on lesson planning, classroom management, student follow-up, and parent communication.
- Conduct regular teacher meetings, training sessions, and feedback discussions.
- Build teamwork, ownership, accountability, and a positive work culture across all centres.
Student Enrolment, Attendance and Retention
- Ensure adequate student enrolment across Primary, Upper Primary, and Secondary sections.
- Maintain at least 80% student attendance across all centres.
- Track student attendance, participation, and retention.
- Work with teachers and parents to follow up with irregular students.
Assessments and Learning Outcomes
- Ensure baseline, midline, and endline assessments are conducted regularly.
- Review assessment results and identify learning gaps.
- Support teachers in planning remedial classes and improvement plans.
- Monitor student learning outcomes and academic quality across all centres.
Parent and Community Engagement
- Conduct monthly parent meetings and maintain regular communication with parents.
- Discuss student attendance, progress, and learning needs with parents.
- Build positive relationships with local community members and partners.
Documentation and Reporting
- Ensure enrolment, attendance, assessment, and activity data is updated accurately.
- Maintain centre records and required documentation.
- Share timely academic and operational reports with the KKP Head and management.
Centre Operations and Asset Management
- Ensure centres are clean, safe, organised, and ready for daily learning activities.
- Monitor the proper use and maintenance of learning materials, teaching aids, and centre assets.
- Ensure required teaching-learning materials are available and used effectively.
Student Engagement Activities
- Plan and coordinate competitions, celebrations, exposure visits, and other student activities.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and overall development among students.

Educational Qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- B.Ed. will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in teaching and educational programme management.
- Experience in community-based education, NGO-led learning programmes, or school leadership will be preferred.

- Proactively identify challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Support the KKP Head and management with additional responsibilities required for smooth programme functioning.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
