Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Company Secretary to support the organisation in statutory compliance, corporate documentation, regulatory filings, and secretarial functions. The role will involve working closely with the management and finance/legal teams to ensure timely and accurate compliance with applicable corporate laws and regulations.
Candidates with 0–2 years of experience are eligible to apply. Freshers with the required qualification and a strong interest in corporate compliance and secretarial practice are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining statutory registers, records, and corporate documents.
- Support preparation and filing of statutory forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and other applicable authorities.
- Assist in organising Board Meetings, General Meetings, and other statutory meetings.
- Prepare notices, agendas, minutes, resolutions, and other secretarial documents.
- Maintain and update minutes books, statutory registers, and other corporate records.
- Monitor statutory compliance calendars and ensure timely completion of filings and compliances.
- Assist with corporate secretarial matters relating to appointment/resignation of directors, changes in shareholding, share transfers, and other corporate actions.
- Support incorporation, alteration, and other company law-related processes.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, legal professionals, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Conduct basic legal and regulatory research and keep track of relevant changes in laws and regulations.
- Assist management with compliance-related reports, documentation, and correspondence.
- Ensure proper maintenance and filing of agreements, resolutions, certificates, and other important corporate documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, management, shareholder, and other sensitive information.
- Undertake other secretarial and compliance-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of the Companies Act, 2013 and basic corporate compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of MCA filings and the MCA portal will be an advantage.
- Good drafting, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
Educational Qualification
- CS Executive / CS Professional / Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- Graduation in Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
