We are seeking an Instrumentation & Control Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in industrial instrumentation systems and project execution to support the instrumentation and control aspects of process plant projects.
The role requires a strong understanding of industrial instrumentation, control systems, process measurement devices, control panels, and automation systems used in industrial plants. The engineer will work closely with the internal engineering team, instrumentation contractors, and suppliers to ensure that all instrumentation and control systems comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements. The role will involve reviewing instrumentation engineering designs, supervising installation activities, and ensuring quality and compliance during instrumentation installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering Review & Technical Coordination: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure all instrumentation and control engineering deliverables meet project requirements and specifications. Review and cross-check instrumentation drawings, instrument data sheets, control philosophies, instrument index, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation. Ensure designs comply with relevant instrumentation standards and project specifications.
2. Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with instrumentation contractors, control system suppliers, and equipment vendors during procurement and installation activities. Ensure instrumentation devices and control systems supplied meet the technical specifications approved by the engineering team. Review vendor documentation including instrument specifications, panel drawings, loop diagrams, and installation procedures.
3. Quality Assurance, Testing & Inspection: Conduct inspections to verify the quality and compliance of instrumentation equipment and installation works. Verify instrument calibration certificates, material documentation, and testing reports. Oversee calibration, loop checks, signal testing, and functional testing of instruments and control systems prior to commissioning.
4. Site Installation Supervision: Supervise installation of field instruments, control panels, signal wiring, cable routing, and integration of instrumentation systems with plant equipment. Ensure installation is executed according to approved engineering drawings, project standards, and safety procedures. Support the project team during pre-commissioning, loop testing, and commissioning of control systems.

- 4–6 years of experience in industrial instrumentation systems, automation, or plant control systems.
- Experience in process plants, energy projects, oil & gas, waste-to-energy, hydrogen, or industrial manufacturing projects preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation and control systems.
- Knowledge of instrumentation standards and codes (ISA, IEC, IS, etc.).
- Experience in reviewing P&IDs, instrument data sheets, instrument index, loop diagrams, and control system drawings.
- Familiarity with instrument calibration, loop checking, testing procedures, and commissioning practices.
- Understanding of PLC/DCS systems and process control architecture.
- Ability to coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors during project execution.
- Strong problem-solving and technical evaluation skills.
