Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Build and maintain copilots in Copilot Studio (topics, generative answers, actions).
- Design conversation flows, prompts, fallbacks, and escalation paths aligned to responsible AI practices.
- Configure and validate knowledge sources (e.g., SharePoint, Dataverse, websites) and ensure appropriate permissions.
- Integrate copilots with Power Automate flows and approved connectors; create actions that follow governance/DLP policies.
- Publish copilots to approved channels (e.g., Microsoft Teams) and support UAT and production releases.
- Test and troubleshoot copilots end-to-end (functional, regression, and basic security validation).
- Monitor analytics and feedback; tune topics, prompts, and knowledge sources for quality and containment.
- Document solution design, integrations, and support runbooks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, platform admins, and security partners.
- Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures.
- Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements.
- Meet or exceed all performance expectations.
Required Job Skills & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4 years of experience building chatbots/copilots and/or Power Platform solutions.
- Copilot Studio fundamentals (topics, generative answers, actions, testing, publishing).
- Basic conversation design and prompt writing; ability to design clear user journeys and fallbacks.
- Power Automate fundamentals (cloud flows, triggers/actions, approvals) and how to invoke flows from copilots.
- Working knowledge of connectors, authentication basics, and solution components (connection references, environment variables).
- Knowledge source configuration (SharePoint/Dataverse) and awareness of permission/security trimming concepts.
- Troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret basic analytics.
- Understanding of governance concepts such as DLP and working within enterprise policies.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-900; Copilot Studio credential if available).
- Experience deploying copilots in Microsoft Teams and integrating with Microsoft 365 workloads.
- Familiarity with AI Builder and/or Azure AI services.
- Experience in an enterprise or regulated environment.
