We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide prospective and existing students regarding educational programs, career opportunities, admissions, and academic planning. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counseling, and relationship-building skills to help students make informed academic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and educational institutes regarding courses, admissions, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
- Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms.
- Assist students throughout the admission and enrollment process.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication to maximize conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions data in CRM/software.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
- Conduct seminars, webinars, career guidance sessions, and educational events.
- Address student concerns and provide appropriate academic guidance and support.
- Achieve admission and enrollment targets as assigned.
Required Skills

- Ability to build rapport with students, colleges and educational institutes.
- Good presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience in academic counseling, student recruitment, admissions, education sales, or related fields.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
