Job Summary
Global University Village is looking for a confident and professional Study Abroad Telecaller to connect with students who are interested in studying overseas. The candidate will contact new leads, understand the student’s requirements, explain our services, schedule counselling sessions, and follow up regularly until the student is connected with the admissions team.
Key Responsibilities
- Call students who submit enquiries through Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, website forms, and other lead sources.
- Understand the student’s preferred country, course, budget, academic background, and intake.
- Explain study-abroad counselling, university application, visa-support, and admission services.
- Schedule counselling appointments with the appropriate counsellor.
- Follow up with interested students through calls and WhatsApp.
- Update call status, student details, notes, and follow-up dates in the CRM.
- Maintain accurate records of every interaction.
- Reconnect with missed, inactive, and previously interested leads.
- Achieve daily and monthly calling, appointment-booking, and lead-conversion targets.
- Coordinate with counsellors and the admissions team for smooth student handover.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Confident speaking style and professional telephone etiquette.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp, email, and CRM software.
- Ability to handle objections and follow up consistently.
- Positive attitude, patience, and target-oriented approach.
- Interest in the education or study-abroad industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in telecalling, counselling, admissions, education sales, or customer support is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with knowledge of countries such as the UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Europe, or New Zealand will have an advantage.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
