Consultant – Surgical Oncology (MDS with Fellowship in Surgical Oncology)

Job Summary
We are looking for an MDS-qualified professional with a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology to assist in the surgical management of cancer patients within their scope of training and applicable regulations. The candidate will work closely with the Surgical Oncology team in delivering comprehensive cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation and management of cancer patients.
- Participate in pre-operative planning and patient counselling.
- Assist in oncological surgical procedures as per training and institutional protocols.
- Provide peri-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
- Coordinate with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Anaesthetists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Participate in tumor boards, CMEs, and academic activities.
- Follow hospital SOPs, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
Eligibility
- MDS from a recognized institution.
- Fellowship in Surgical Oncology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate Dental Council.
Experience
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Experience in an oncology hospital or cancer centre will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of surgical oncology principles.
- Excellent communication and patient counselling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good documentation and clinical coordination skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centric approach.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Head & Neck Oncology or Oral Oncology.
- Experience assisting in major oncological surgeries.
- Experience in dedicated cancer hospitals.
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
