Video Editor Intern

About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our content team. If you're passionate about storytelling, social media, and creating engaging videos, this internship will give you hands-on experience working on real client projects and company content.
You will edit videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms while learning professional editing workflows and content strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, and promotional videos.
- Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, background music, and basic animations.
- Perform color correction and basic audio enhancement.
- Create platform-specific versions (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips.
- Design engaging hooks and maintain fast-paced editing to improve viewer retention.
- Create thumbnails using Canva or Photoshop.
- Organize project files and maintain a structured workflow.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to deliver videos on schedule.
- Stay updated with current editing styles and social media trends.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Familiarity with Canva or Photoshop is a plus.
- Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn content formats.
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Creativity with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
- Portfolio, sample edits, or personal projects are preferred.
