Job title: Design Engineer
Qualification required: B.E. / B. Tech/Diploma – Mechanical / Production
Job Location: Thane
Must to have skills: Sheet metal design / Solidworks
Job Responsibilities:
1. Understand the requirements and work with different teams.
2. Create design concept and detail engineering
3. Design considering manufacturability, cost, performance and durability.
4. Conduct design review to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.
5. Knowledge in GD&T, stack up analysis, different industrial standards like ANSI, JIS, DIN etc.
6. Good knowledge in Tooling, fixture and jigs would be a plus.
7. Knowledge of manufacturing / production / assembly processes would be a plus.
8. Hands on experience in various manufacturing processes would be a plus.
Desired Skill Set:
1. Good in engineering mechanics, strength of materials & theory of machines.
2. A good grasp of engineering and design principles
3. 3 years of core experience in sheet metal design, machine design, material handling equipment design etc.
4. Knowledge in GD&T, stack up analysis.
5. Good knowledge on any of the 3D modeling software (SolidWorks).
6. Excellent communication skills and good team working skills.
7. Willing to travel overseas for short and long assignments.
8. Basic understanding of Information Security Management system
