Job Description: Marketing & Sales Executive Company Overview
We are a growing clean-tech robotics startup developing smart solar panel cleaning and monitoring robots for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial solar customers. Our mission is to improve solar power generation, save water, reduce manual cleaning dependency, and provide cost-effective robotic solutions for the solar industry.
Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated Marketing & Sales Executive who can handle both field sales and online marketing. The candidate should be able to generate leads, visit customers, run online ads, create basic marketing posters, support pricing strategy, and help build strong sales channels for our solar cleaning robot products.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing Responsibilities
- Generate leads through online and offline channels.
- Handle social media marketing on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other platforms.
- Run basic online ads on Meta Ads, Instagram Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Ads.
- Create simple posters, banners, creatives, reels, and promotional content using Canva or similar tools.
- Plan customer awareness campaigns for rooftop solar owners and commercial solar users.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Support branding, promotional activities, and product positioning.
- Prepare marketing strategies for customer acquisition.
- Visit solar EPC companies, dealers, distributors, commercial buildings, factories, schools, hospitals, hotels, and housing societies.
Sales Responsibilities
- Conduct outdoor sales visits and customer meetings.
- Call potential customers and follow up regularly.
- Coordinate product demos and customer presentations.
- Identify rooftop solar customers and commercial solar users.
- Build dealer, distributor, EPC, and O&M service provider networks.
- Follow up on quotations, proposals, and customer requirements.
- Maintain customer database, lead reports, and sales pipeline.
- Achieve weekly and monthly lead generation and sales targets.
Business Strategy & Pricing Responsibilities
- Support pricing strategy based on customer segment, market demand, and competitor pricing.
- Help prepare offers, packages, discount plans, AMC plans, and dealer pricing.
- Collect customer feedback on pricing, product features, and buying interest.
- Suggest new sales strategies to improve conversions.
- Identify high-potential customer segments and local market opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- marketing, sales, or commerce background will be preferred.
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in marketing, sales, solar, field work, or digital marketing will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good communication and convincing skills.
- Basic knowledge of online marketing and social media platforms.
- Ability to run basic online ads or willingness to learn quickly.
- Basic poster/design creation skills using Canva or similar tools.
- Knowledge of WhatsApp marketing, Instagram marketing, and lead generation.
- Basic MS Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Ability to visit customers and generate leads.
- Hindi communication is required; English communication is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in field sales, digital marketing, social media marketing, solar products, electronics, rooftop solar, or B2B sales.
- Experience in creating posters, running ads, managing leads, and customer follow-up.
- Knowledge of solar EPC companies, installers, dealers, or renewable energy market will be an advantage.
Salary / Incentive Structure
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
Incentives: Performance-based incentives on lead generation, sales conversion, dealer onboarding, and monthly targets.
Additional: Travel allowance may be provided for field visits.
