Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented AR Callers to join our Physician Billing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following up with insurance companies on outstanding claims, ensuring timely reimbursement, and supporting the revenue cycle process. This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of U.S. healthcare billing, and the ability to resolve claim related issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and submit physician claims accurately and within prescribed timelines.
- Follow up with insurance companies on denied, rejected, or pending claims.
- Resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies to maximize collections.
- Maintain accurate records of claim status, follow up activities, and payment updates.
- Support revenue cycle management by ensuring prompt claim resolution and payment posting coordination.
- Communicate professionally with insurance representatives to resolve billing issues.
- Meet productivity and quality targets while adhering to organizational standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in U.S. Physician Billing (AR Calling).
- U.S. healthcare insurance processes
- Strong verbal communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and medical billing software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualification
- Hands-on experience with Athena Software (athenaOne/Athenahealth) is an added advantage.
