KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Identifying & Generating Leads:
- Researching and identifying potential clients and business opportunities from Govt. /Semi Govt./ Industries /PSUs and other business verticals.
- Developing and Implementation of business strategies from the above potential leads.
- Well versed with the market potential and acquiring new Business, retaining existing accounts.
Building & Maintaining Channel Business:
- Appoint associates for managing sales & project executions and improving sales through B2B – Private & Govt customers.
- Scouting & appointing new Channel Partners & retaining existing ones with year-on-year business growth.
- Understanding client/Channel needs and addressing business enquiries with tailored solutions on topmost priority.
Sales & Marketing Management:
- Establishing key relationships with corporate clients and agencies to ensure maximum exposure and increase revenue.
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations with the help of BD/KAM Team.
- Skillset for negotiating and closing business deals
- Managing sales pipeline and tracking it on regular basis.
- Handling diversified projects in all business segments such as Industrial / Indoor / Outdoor/ Sports / Infrastructure / Landscape / Solar etc.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Territory business target achievement – Sales, Collection, Forecasting.
- Adherence to Monthly/ Quarterly/Yearly sales projections
- Own performance Sales strategy, planning and execution and increase overall funnel for the brand with a focus on conversions and customer engagement
- Develop and manage the framework for Sales Consistency month on month/ year on year basis and winning high visibility/big value projects across PLUM.
Other Duties
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitors and emerging market opportunities
- Collaborating with sales support teams such as NPD, Lighting designs, Material sourcing and service teams.
- Creating brand awareness at industry conferences and events.
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
- 4–8 years of sales experience in B2B Lighting / Electricals / Consumer Durables
- Strong exposure to distributor and retail-driven sales models
- Proven experience in handling a defined territory independently
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Market understanding of retail and electrical trade
- Result-oriented with strong execution capability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
