Position Overview
The PD/GD & Communication Faculty is responsible for developing students into confident, well-groomed, and industry-ready aviation professionals. The faculty member will conduct training in Personality Development (PD), Group Discussion (GD), Spoken English, Communication Skills, Interview Preparation, Grooming, and Professional Etiquette to ensure students meet national and international airline recruitment standards.

- The Part-Time PD/GD & Communication Faculty is responsible for conducting engaging and practical training sessions in Personality Development (PD), Group Discussion (GD), Communication Skills, Spoken English, Interview Preparation, Grooming, and Professional Etiquette. The faculty will prepare students for careers in the aviation, hospitality, travel, and customer service industries by developing their confidence, communication abilities, and professional personality.
- Key Responsibilities
- Communication Skills Training
- Conduct Spoken English, Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Public Speaking sessions.
- Improve students' verbal and written communication skills.
- Train students in professional and business communication.
- Personality Development (PD)
- Develop students' confidence, leadership qualities, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills.
- Help students overcome stage fear and improve presentation skills.
- Conduct activities that enhance self-esteem and personality.
- Group Discussion (GD) & Interview Preparation
- Conduct mock Group Discussions and Personal Interview sessions.
- Train students in HR interviews, airline interviews, and customer service interviews.
- Provide individual feedback to improve interview performance.
- Grooming & Professional Etiquette
- Train students on aviation grooming standards, professional attire, personal hygiene, body language, and customer service etiquette.
- Ensure students maintain professional appearance and behaviour during training sessions.
- Student Assessment
- Evaluate students through presentations, role plays, group discussions, and mock interviews.
- Maintain assessment records and provide constructive feedback.
- Submit student performance reports to the Centre Head after each training session or batch completion.
- Academic Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, presentations, and classroom activities.
- Ensure timely completion of the assigned training modules.
- Maintain discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Aviation, Hospitality, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's Degree or professional certifications in Soft Skills, Communication Skills, Personality Development, IELTS, or Corporate Training will be an added advantage.
- Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Soft Skills, Personality Development, Communication, or Aviation Trainer.
- Prior experience in Aviation, Hospitality, Customer Service, or Corporate Training is preferred.

- Working Schedule
- Conduct classes as per the academic timetable assigned by the Centre Head.
- Typically 2–4 hours per session or as scheduled by the institute.
- Flexible working hours, including weekdays or weekends, depending on batch requirements.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in Airlines, Cabin Crew Training, Hospitality, Aviation Academies, Corporate Training, or Soft Skills Training will be preferred. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a professional personality, and the ability to inspire and prepare students for successful careers in the aviation industry.
- Deliver engaging training sessions in Spoken English, Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Business Communication.
- Enhance students' verbal and written communication skills for airline, airport, hospitality, and customer service industries.
- Improve fluency, confidence, clarity, and public speaking abilities.
2. Personality Development (PD)
- Conduct personality development sessions focusing on self-confidence, leadership, positive attitude, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
- Train students to overcome stage fear and improve presentation skills.
- Develop professional behaviour and workplace ethics.
3. Group Discussion (GD) & Interview Preparation
- Conduct mock Group Discussions (GD), Personal Interviews (PI), and HR interview sessions.
- Prepare students for airline recruitment drives through role plays, case studies, and assessment activities.
- Provide individual coaching and constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
4. Grooming & Professional Etiquette
- Train students on aviation grooming standards, personal hygiene, makeup, dress code, and corporate appearance.
- Educate students on customer service etiquette, dining etiquette, body language, and professional behaviour.
- Ensure students maintain airline-standard grooming throughout the course.
5. Classroom Management
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, training materials, and practical activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Conduct interactive learning sessions using modern teaching methodologies.
6. Student Assessment & Development
- Conduct regular assessments, presentations, viva sessions, and practical evaluations.
- Monitor student progress and maintain performance records.
- Provide counselling and mentoring to help students achieve career goals.
7. Placement Support
- Coordinate with the Placement Department for recruitment drives.
- Conduct pre-placement training, resume preparation, mock interviews, and confidence-building sessions.
- Assist students in developing industry-ready professional profiles.
8. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance records, assessment reports, and student progress reports.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly academic reports to the Centre Head.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, seminars, and institutional events.
Key Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Aviation, Hospitality, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Certification in Soft Skills Training, Personality Development, Communication Skills, IELTS, TOEFL, or Corporate Training is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Soft Skills, Communication, Personality Development, or Aviation Trainer.
- Prior experience in an Aviation Academy, Airline, Hospitality, Customer Service, or Corporate Training environment is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should possess an energetic personality, excellent grooming standards, strong mentoring capabilities, and a passion for developing future aviation professionals.
Pay: ₹350.00 - ₹450.00 per hour
