Permaculture Specialist / Designer
Position Overview
A Permaculture Specialist creates self-sustaining, regenerative human habitats and agricultural systems. Applying core ethics—Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share—they blend ecological principles, traditional knowledge, and modern tech to design functional landscapes that conserve resources, enhance biodiversity, and yield sustainable resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Site Assessment & Mapping: Analyze topography, microclimates, soil conditions, water flow, and biodiversity using GIS mapping, CAD, and hands-on observation. ZipRecruiter
- System Design: Develop comprehensive designs for food forests, zone plans, swales, earthworks, and integrated pest management systems. In the Moment x
- Water & Soil Management: Implement rainwater harvesting, greywater reuse systems, erosion control, and soil regeneration strategies (composting, cover cropping). Kaplan Community Career Center

Key Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Agroecology, Landscape Architecture, or a related field. kaplan.com

- Experience: Hands-on experience in organic farming, agroforestry, nursery management, or earthmoving machinery operations.

Pay: ₹15,080.56 - ₹30,000.00 per month
