Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Fresher Audiologist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, assisting in the diagnosis and management of hearing disorders, fitting hearing aids under supervision, and providing counseling to patients and their families. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while making a positive impact on individuals with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct basic audiological evaluations under the guidance of senior audiologists.
- Perform Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Tympanometry, OAE, and other hearing assessments as required.
- Assist in hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Educate patients and caregivers on hearing aid use, maintenance, and communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records, assessment reports, and follow-up documentation.
- Participate in hearing screening camps, awareness programs, and community outreach activities.
- Coordinate with ENT specialists, speech-language pathologists, and multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of audiology equipment.
- Follow organizational policies, clinical protocols, and ethical standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP) from a recognized institution.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is preferred or must be obtained as per applicable requirements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of audiological assessments and hearing aid technology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience while working with children and adults.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office and electronic record management).
- Willingness to travel for outreach programs and hearing screening camps, if required.
