Job Summary:
The Estate Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, security, and smooth functioning of the school’s infrastructure, buildings, grounds, and related facilities. The role ensures the school premises are clean, safe, and conducive to learning.
Key Responsibilities:Facilities & Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the maintenance of school buildings, classrooms, playgrounds, staff quarters, and other infrastructure.
- Supervise daily upkeep of the school campus including cleanliness, gardening, repairs, and renovations.
- Ensure the proper functioning of utilities such as electricity, plumbing, water supply, and waste management.
Security & Safety:
- Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard school property.
- Manage school security staff and ensure 24x7 security protocols are followed.
- Ensure fire safety, emergency preparedness, and compliance with safety regulations.
Vendor & Contractor Management:
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and facility services.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service quality, and control expenses related to estate management.
Resource Management:
- Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Oversee the management of school transport, parking, and logistics (if applicable).
Team Supervision:
- Lead and manage housekeeping, maintenance, gardening, and security staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings, assign duties, and monitor performance.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and facility-related expenses.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to the management regarding estate activities, expenses, and facility conditions.
- Identify and report any potential risks or issues promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate / Diploma in Facilities Management, Estate Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estate or facility management (preferably in an educational institution).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in handling vendors, contracts, and maintenance workflows.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹14,686.70 - ₹43,425.85 per month
