About the Role The Application Packaging Specialist will manage the deployment, configuration, and support of applications on workstations and mobile devices, ensuring effective endpoint management and application security within the organization. This role is essential for the organization's IT and cybersecurity teams. The specialist will work with UEM specialists and participate in cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standardized processes for deploying and configuring applications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
- Manage application packaging and updates.
- Monitor health and performance of applications.
- Provide technical support for application issues.
- Manage application inventory and lifecycle.
- Implement security measures, including whitelisting and patch management.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams.
- Participate in cross-functional projects.
- Maintain policies and procedures for application management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in application management.
- Strong knowledge of application deployment and management tools.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for application security.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune.
Good to Have
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
- Experience in ITIL or CompTIA A+ standards.
