Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, and API testing to ensure high-quality web applications. The candidate should be hands-on in automation, capable of performing manual validation when required, and comfortable working in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using:
- Selenium (Java) for web automation
- Playwright (Java / JavaScript / TypeScript)
- Develop and execute API automation tests using Postman and REST-assured
- Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
- Execute regression, smoke, and functional test suites
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
- Collaborate closely with developers and product owners in Agile/Scrum teams
- Participate in code reviews, sprint meetings, and defect triage discussions
- Ensure adequate test coverage and contribute to improving automation stability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in QA Automation and Manual Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium using Java
- Experience with Playwright automation
- Solid understanding of API testing using Postman and REST-assured
- Good Java programming skills
- Experience in manual testing, UI validation, and defect reporting
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD execution (basic level)
- Experience working in Agile environments
Nice to Have
- Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cross-browser testing tools
