Role Description The Assistant Manager Security Operations role is a full-time on-site position based in Mangaluru. The role involves supervising day-to-day security operations across assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards, PSARA requirements, and client-specific protocols. Responsibilities include overseeing physical security deployment, monitoring access control and surveillance systems, coordinating incident response, and maintaining accurate security logs and reports. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with operations and facility management teams to assess risks, implement preventive measures, and support continuous improvement in safety and security processes. The role also includes training and guiding security personnel, conducting periodic audits and inspections, and supporting the integration of security practices within broader facility operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Operations Management, with experience in coordinating security services within integrated facility or business support environments.
- Candidates should possess comprehensive Physical Security skills, including access control, surveillance oversight, incident management, and risk assessment for on-site facilities.
- Candidates should possess foundational Cybersecurity skills, with awareness of Vulnerability Management and Network Security concepts relevant to security systems and infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess effective leadership, team supervision, and stakeholder management skills to work with clients, security staff, and internal operations teams.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities, along with proficiency in using security and facility management tools.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in security management, facility management, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in security operations within facility or industrial environments is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Indian regulatory and statutory compliance related to security services, and familiarity with PSARA and safety standards, will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
