Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Draughtsman to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in preparing HVAC drawings and layouts, with strong knowledge of Chiller Systems, VRF/VRV Systems, ducting, piping, and ventilation systems. The candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient HVAC design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop HVAC layouts for Chiller, VRF/VRV, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
- Prepare ducting, piping, equipment layouts, and schematic drawings as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Teams, Consultants, and Clients for drawing approvals and modifications.
- Review engineering designs and convert them into accurate technical drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and support project execution teams with technical documentation.
- Update and maintain drawing records and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in resolving design and installation-related issues through effective drafting solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as an HVAC Draughtsman.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including Chillers, VRF, VRV, AHU, FCU, Ducting, and Piping Systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC drafting software.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Good understanding of HVAC installation practices and site coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC projects.
- Knowledge of HVAC design standards and relevant codes.
- Familiarity with Revit MEP or other BIM software will be an added advantage.
