Think Flare is looking for an experienced Freight Broker to join our growing team.
Position: Freight Broker
Experience: 1+ year in US Freight Brokerage
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:30AM
Work Location: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shipper and carrier relationships.
- Source and book freight loads.
- Negotiate rates and maintain healthy profit margins.
- Generate new business and develop existing accounts.
- Track shipments and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Handle rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs and other freight documentation.
- Resolve shipment-related issues quickly and professionally.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on US Freight Brokerage experience.
- Strong knowledge of the US freight/logistics market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with DAT, Truckstop, TMS or similar tools preferred.
- Strong sales and customer-handling skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Existing customer/carrier network or book of business is a plus.
