Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer with prior experience in an interior design or architecture firm. The ideal candidate should possess strong client acquisition, negotiation, and relationship management skills to drive business growth and expand the company's client base. The candidate must be willing to travel as required for business meetings, site visits, and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the interior design and architecture sector
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term clients
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and corporate clients
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and project discussions
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms
- Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking meetings
- Prepare regular business development and sales reports for management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development within an interior design or architecture firm (Mandatory)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to generate leads and close business deals
- Excellent client relationship management and networking skills
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage
- Must be willing to travel as per company requirements
