About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and creative Technical Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating engineering designs, technical drawings, 3D models, and product development solutions for innovative projects in defence, aerospace, manufacturing, robotics, and industrial applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience with design software and engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Develop product designs based on project requirements and specifications
- Prepare technical documentation, BOM, assembly drawings, and design reports
- Support prototype development and product testing activities
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, and R&D teams
- Perform design modifications and engineering calculations
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and quality requirements
- Assist in reverse engineering and product improvement projects
- Participate in innovation and product development activities
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or Fusion 360
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Understanding of materials, fabrication, and assembly techniques
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic knowledge of simulation and rendering tools is an added advantage
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
Experience
- 0–3 Years of experience in technical design or product development
- Freshers with strong design skills are also encouraged to apply
