Job Description – Assistant Store Manager

Reporting To: Store Manager
Role Purpose
Support the Store Manager in managing inventory, material receipts, storage, issuance, documentation, and stock reconciliation to ensure smooth project execution and material availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing construction materials.
- Maintain GRNs, stock registers, material issue records, and inventory reports.
- Issue materials against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, and Accounts teams for material tracking and documentation.
- Ensure proper storage, housekeeping, and preservation of materials.
- Support audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Report material shortages, damages, excesses, and discrepancies to the Store Manager.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate/Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Material Management, or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in store operations, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects.

Compensation: As per company standards and candidate experience.
Location Preference: Bhubaneswar-based candidates or those willing to relocate.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
