About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Jr./Merchandiser to join our Home Textile division. The ideal candidate should have experience in textile merchandising, order coordination, sampling, and production follow-ups, preferably in Terry Towels, Bath Linen, or Home Furnishing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and internal departments for smooth order execution.
- Follow up on sampling activities, including development samples, lab dips, and approval samples.
- Monitor and update the Time & Action (T&A) calendar to ensure timely order execution.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Dispatch teams for order fulfillment.
- Track fabric, trims, packaging materials, and other order-related requirements.
- Prepare and maintain merchandising reports, order trackers, and customer communication records.
- Ensure timely submission of samples and approvals to customers.
- Support senior merchandisers in handling buyer requirements and resolving production-related issues.
- Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate dispatch activities.
- Maintain product specifications, BOMs, and order documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in Textile Merchandising, preferably in Home Textiles or Terry Towels.
- Understanding of textile manufacturing processes, dyeing, finishing, and quality standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and SAP systems.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
