Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SPM Design Engineer responsible for the design and development of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) for automation and manufacturing applications. The candidate will be involved in concept design, 3D modeling, detailing, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer requirements and technical specifications
Prepare concept designs, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings
Create 3D models and assemblies using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA
Perform design calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and material selection
Develop BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing drawings
Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, and automation teams
Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and cost requirements
Support machine assembly, trials, and troubleshooting
Interact with clients for design reviews and approvals
Work on continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Key Skills Required:-
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles
Experience in SPM, automation systems, jigs & fixtures design
Proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks / AutoCAD / CATIA
Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Good communication and teamwork skills
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
