Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – Finishing with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing all finishing activities, ensuring work is completed as per quality standards, project specifications, safety requirements, and scheduled timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute all finishing works including:
- Plastering
- Flooring (Tiles, Marble, Granite, Wooden Flooring)
- Painting & Texture Finishes
- False Ceiling (Gypsum/Grid)
- Waterproofing
- Joinery & Carpentry
- Aluminum & Glass Works
- External Finishing Works
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare progress reports.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- Identify and resolve site execution issues promptly.
- Verify contractor bills and measurements.
- Plan manpower, materials, and equipment for timely execution.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure smooth integration during finishing activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in project handover and snag list closure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–6 years of experience in finishing works for residential, commercial, or high-rise projects.
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good understanding of BOQ, estimation, and material reconciliation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in premium interior and exterior finishing works.
- Knowledge of IS codes and construction quality standards.
- Excellent planning and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
