JOB OBJECTIVE
Assists the IT manager in day to day execution of IT related matters in a SMC. Works on Infrastructure projects and ensures they are in-line with BSMs standards and policies and provides management with latest information in making IT initiatives a business enabler.
Ensures all SMC office has continuous connectivity to BSM applications, Vendor systems on a 24*7 basis with limited downtimes. Ensures all IT systems are maintained in regular intervals and downtimes are properly planned in advance to enable only minimal disruption to business.
2 . Assists IT manager in talking to vendors and procuring IT equipment’s for the SMC
3.Resolve day to day IT issues in the SMC and assist users on round a clock basis
4. Support IT manager in managing the local IT budgets if needed
5 Work on standalone IT projects as and when directed by IT manager or the TDC management
Education and Qualifications:
BA/BS in computer science related field or equivalent experience
A Masters in Computer Science will be an added advantage
Work experience:
▪ 4+ years’ experience working hands-on in complex IT infrastructure including CLOUD solutions, networking, enterprise
storage platforms
▪ Minimum 2 years prior experience in a similar role
Job-Specific Skills:
▪ Experience with SAN Storage infrastructure in a virtual environment
▪ Certifications and or significant experience with VMware vSphere environments
▪ Industry certifications a plus (Microsoft, Cisco etc.)
▪ In depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
▪ Windows Server 2008/2012, Microsoft System Centre
▪ SQL Server 2008/2012 clustering
▪ Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 Infrastructure, Online Archiving
▪ Strong networking skills– emphasis on virtual infrastructure and WAN networking
▪ Experience with High Availability / Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity planning and execution
▪ Security focused
▪ Must possess a firm understanding of the OSI Reference Model
▪ Solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud/Office 365
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
