Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Design & Application Support Engineer to provide technical support and application engineering expertise for embedded software development tools and solutions. The role involves working closely with customers, sales teams, and technology partners to support embedded system development, troubleshoot technical challenges, and deliver effective application solutions.
Desired Experience
- Should be proficient in C / C++ / ADA Programming & 16/32/64 bit microcontroller applications.
- Strong know-how of Embedded Systems and Software Development Lifecycle is a must.
- Working expertise on various compilers & debuggers.
- Should have working experience on any one RTOS like VxWorks / Integrity / Lynx OS / equivalent.
- Expertise in BSP & Driver Development under any operating system is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Safety standards like IEC/EN61508, ISO26262, DO-178B/C etc.
- Strong Technical knowledge, Excellent Communication skills, Ability to be flexible and proactive.
- Willingness to travel All India extensively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers on Embedded Design & Debug software products like Cross compilers / Assemblers, In-circuit emulators, GUI Design toolchain, etc.
- Provide support and assist customers in developing Drivers & BSP
- Evaluating the customer's requirement regarding systems application and administering the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals accordingly.
- Coordinating with the sales and marketing team, for designing proper application system, and formulating the product specification as per the customer's needs.
- Preparing relevant records, data, and documents for product presentations, conducting training sessions for demonstrating new products and services, and supporting the sales team in organizing the presentation and training of product demonstration.
- Analyzing technological problems in installed application systems, checking its technical resolution, and working condition, and fixing the same if required.
- Troubleshooting system applications on customer's request, resolving other engineering issues regarding systems application, conducting regular follow up on customer's activities, and monitoring the same for obtaining new sales opportunities.
- Flexible to travel to or work from customer locations.
