Job Summary
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting hotel rooms, banquet facilities, corporate packages, and hospitality services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to convert leads into long-term business partnerships.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and field visits.
- Develop relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, wedding organizers, and local businesses.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients and follow up regularly.
Sales & Client Management
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable hotel services, room bookings, banquet packages, and corporate offers.
- Conduct hotel property tours and present customized proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing, prepare quotations, and close sales effectively.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Promote room bookings, conferences, meetings, social events, weddings, and corporate packages.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling hotel services.
Market Research & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
- Prepare regular sales reports and update management on business development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Up to 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or business development is preferred.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is an added advantage.
