Role Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising switchgear manufacturing, panel assembly, electrical testing, troubleshooting and quality-control activities. The candidate should have practical experience in electrical manufacturing or a related industry and be capable of independently handling assigned production and technical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the assembly, wiring, testing and inspection of switchgear panels and electrical equipment.
- Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Plan and monitor daily production activities to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Conduct functional, insulation, continuity and other prescribed electrical tests.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement suitable corrective measures.
- Ensure that products comply with approved drawings, customer requirements and quality standards.
- Guide junior engineers, technicians and production employees in technical activities.
- Coordinate with design, production, quality, procurement, stores and maintenance departments.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, inspection records, testing reports and technical documents.
- Monitor material usage and report shortages or technical discrepancies.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and factory regulations.
- Support customer inspections, internal audits and product-dispatch activities, wherever required.
Qualification:
- B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Three to four years of relevant experience in switchgear, control-panel manufacturing, electrical equipment manufacturing or a related industry.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of switchgear systems, electrical panels, protection devices and control circuits.
- Practical experience in panel wiring, testing, troubleshooting and quality inspection.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications independently.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and safety procedures.
- Good supervisory, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to guide junior team members and manage assigned work independently.
Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
