Job Summary
The Room Service Server is responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. The role ensures excellent guest service, accurate order delivery, and adherence to hotel service standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Receive and confirm guest room service orders.
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly.
- Set up trays, trolleys, or dining tables according to hotel standards.
- Explain menu items and answer guest questions when required.
- Ensure guest satisfaction during and after service.
Food & Beverage Operations
- Check orders for accuracy before delivery.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and temperature during service.
- Collect signed bills or process payments as per hotel procedures.
- Remove used trays, dishes, and service equipment from guest rooms.
Hygiene & Safety
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of room service stations, trays, and trolleys.
- Handle food and beverages safely and professionally.
- Follow hotel health and safety regulations.
Coordination
- Coordinate with kitchen and front office staff for smooth service.
- Communicate guest requests and special instructions accurately.
- Report guest complaints or service issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10th or 12th pass.
- Diploma or certificate in Hotel Management/Food & Beverage Service is preferred.
- Previous hotel or restaurant service experience is an advantage.
Required Skills

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Requires standing, walking, lifting trays, and frequent movement throughout the hotel.

Pay: ₹8,967.19 - ₹17,140.28 per month
