Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Injection Moulding Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining injection moulding machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality plastic components. Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Safely operate and monitor semi-automatic or automatic plastic injection moulding machines.
- Setup & Monitoring: Assist in setting up machines according to specifications and monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, and cycle times) to ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular visual inspections of molded parts to detect defects like flash, short shots, or warping, using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) as needed.
- Post-Processing: Trim, de-flash, and pack finished products according to packaging guidelines.
- Material Handling: Feed raw plastic granules/materials into machine hoppers and manage regrind materials.
- Troubleshooting: Identify basic machine errors or product defects and report them promptly to the shift supervisor or maintenance technician.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or plastic injection moulding environment (Freshers with a technical diploma are welcome to apply).
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Engineering, CIPET, or equivalent high school technical training preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of plastic materials, injection moulding processes, and defects.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor defects and consistently follow precise production blueprints or instructions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift manufacturing materials (up to 20–25 kg).
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotating shifts (including night shifts) as per the production schedule.
