Blue Collar Campus Development Recruiter focuses on sourcing entry-level, semi-skilled, or skilled technical talent from vocational schools, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), polytechnics, and community colleges.
We are seeking a driven and personable Field/Campus Recruiter to establish and maintain relationships with vocational training centers, ITIs, and community colleges to build a steady pipeline of skilled and semi-skilled talent. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, visiting campuses, managing high-volume, and conducting on-ground hiring.
Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain partnerships with placement officers, department heads, and instructors at ITIs and vocational schools.
- Campus Drives: Plan and execute on-ground hiring events, job fairs, and "walk-ins" at technical training institutes.
- Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Identify potential talent for manufacturing, construction, and logistics roles. Conduct preliminary screening and skills assessments to ensure candidates meet physical and technical requirements.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company brand to younger generations of workers, highlighting benefits like on-the-job training, safety, and career growth.
- High-Volume Recruitment: Coordinate bulk hiring initiatives, moving candidates quickly through the application process to reduce dropout rates.
- Onboarding Support: Facilitate the initial onboarding paperwork, background checks, and follow up to ensure a smooth transition to the workplace.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in recruitment, specifically in blue-collar, high-volume, or technical staffing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to engage with diverse student populations, and willingness to travel for field visits.
- Technical Savvy: Proficient in using mobile-friendly hiring tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and social media sourcing.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of labor regulations, union versus non-union work, and technical skill requirements.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
