Job Title: Surveyor (Construction)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Surveyor to perform accurate land and construction site measurements. The Surveyor will be responsible for determining property boundaries, preparing site layouts, and ensuring all construction activities are aligned with approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land and site surveys using modern surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level).
- Establish reference points, benchmarks, and site control points.
- Prepare and interpret survey data, maps, drawings, and reports.
- Set out works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Verify levels, alignment, and dimensions during construction activities.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and record any discrepancies in site measurements.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Assist in quantity calculations and progress measurements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Surveyor in construction projects.
- Proficiency in surveying tools and software (AutoCAD, Total Station, GPS).
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and site execution.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work on-site under varying conditions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in highway/building/infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of GIS and advanced surveying techniques.
- Familiarity with local land laws and regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily site-based role.
- May require travel to project locations.
- Work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
