Job Summary
We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in the centrifugal pumps manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, castings, forgings, machined components, electrical items, and other engineering materials while ensuring timely procurement, quality, and cost efficiency.

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in the centrifugal pumps manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, castings, forgings, machined components, electrical items, and other engineering materials while ensuring timely procurement, quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials required for centrifugal pump manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Planning departments.
- Procure engineering items such as:
- CI, SG Iron & SS Castings
- Forgings
- Shafts, Sleeves & Impellers
- Bearings, Mechanical Seals, Gaskets
- Fasteners
- Electric Motors
- Valves, Pipes & Fittings
- Raw Materials (SS, MS, Carbon Steel)
- Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and documentation.
- Evaluate vendor performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores for replenishment.
- Handle non-moving and excess inventory.
- Support audits by maintaining proper purchase documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO standards.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of centrifugal pump components and engineering materials.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally ERP, Busy, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or any Graduate.
- Certification in Supply Chain or Procurement is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Purchase within a centrifugal pumps, valves, or engineering manufacturing company.
Salary
- Required Skills
- Knowledge of centrifugal pump components and engineering materials.

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or any Graduate.
- Certification in Supply Chain or Procurement is an added advantage.
Experience

Salary
- ₹ 50000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in pump, valve, mechanical seal, or heavy engineering manufacturing.
- Good network of engineering vendors.
- Knowledge of ISO documentation and procurement compliance.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred. per month (Negotiable based on experience)
