We are seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV Technician to join our growing team. As a CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure CCTV systems (cameras, monitors, recorders, etc.) in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Perform maintenance and routine checks on CCTV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CCTV systems, including wiring, network issues, and faulty components.
- Provide on-site technical support to clients and respond to service calls in a timely manner.
- Ensure all CCTV systems are compliant with local regulations and safety standards.
- Work with clients to customize surveillance systems based on their security needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, services, and repairs performed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CCTV technology and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV hardware and software systems.
- Proficiency in the installation and configuration of CCTV systems, including IP-based surveillance systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in CCTV installation or related field (e.g., Security Technology, Electrical, Networking).
- Familiarity with remote viewing software and cloud-based storage solutions.
- Knowledge of networking and IP camera installation
