is looking for a qualified and experienced Student Counsellor to join our school team.
Position: Student Counsellor
Qualification
- B.Sc. in Psychology – Mandatory
- M.Sc. in Psychology – Mandatory
- Postgraduate specialization in Child Psychology / Educational Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counselling & Therapy will be preferred.
- Additional certifications in counselling, child development, or therapy will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a Psychologist / Student Counsellor in a CBSE School is preferred.
- Experience in handling children and adolescents and addressing their academic, emotional, behavioural, and social concerns.
- Candidates with practical experience in counselling and psychological assessment will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counselling to students.
- Address students’ academic, emotional, behavioural, and social concerns.
- Conduct counselling sessions for students requiring additional support.
- Coordinate with teachers and parents regarding students’ well-being and progress.
- Identify students requiring specialized intervention and provide appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Conduct awareness programmes on mental well-being, life skills, stress management, and positive behaviour.
- Maintain proper and confidential counselling records.
