Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technician – Electrician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in an API Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, production equipment, and plant utilities while ensuring compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in API manufacturing equipment and plant utilities.
- Maintain electrical panels, MCCs, PCCs, control panels, motors, VFDs, starters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Carry out installation, wiring, cable laying, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Perform maintenance of utilities, including HVAC systems, air compressors, chillers, boilers, DG sets, pumps, and water systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuits.
- Maintain maintenance records, logbooks, and electrical documentation as per SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and EHS guidelines.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Follow safe work practices, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain good housekeeping.
Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
