Job Summary
CMGA is seeking 2 skilled and experienced Auxiliary Technicians (Expat) to support operations at our Senegal manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of auxiliary systems including diesel generators (DG), chillers, coolers, HVAC systems, compressors, and cooling towers.
This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in industrial environments, and the ability to work independently in an international setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot:
- Diesel Generators (DG sets)
- Industrial chillers and cooling systems
- HVAC systems
- Air compressors
- Cooling towers
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- Support installation and commissioning of new auxiliary equipment.
- Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial auxiliary systems.
- Strong knowledge of DG sets, chillers, HVAC systems, compressors, and cooling towers.
- Experience in factory or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Senegal (expat role).
- Good English communication skills (French is an advantage).
