Qualification
- M.Sc. in Genetics / Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Molecular Biology
- PG Diploma in Genetics (Preferred)
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Cytogenetics or Molecular Diagnostics
- Hands-on experience with Chromosomal Microarray (CMA/aCGH/SNP Array) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform DNA extraction, quantification, and quality assessment.
- Process samples for Chromosomal Microarray (CMA) testing.
- Operate and maintain microarray laboratory instruments.
- Analyze and interpret microarray data using appropriate software.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, NABL, and quality control requirements.
- Maintain laboratory documentation, records, and reports.
- Coordinate with pathologists, geneticists, and clinicians for result interpretation.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
- Follow laboratory safety and biosafety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Cytogenetics and Chromosomal Microarray techniques.
- Hands-on experience in DNA isolation and molecular laboratory procedures.
- Familiarity with microarray analysis software.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with prenatal, postnatal, and oncology cytogenetic testing.
- Knowledge of ISO 15189/NABL quality standards.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
