The Student Counselor will be responsible for handling student inquiries, providing guidance on training programs, counseling prospective students regarding career opportunities, and driving admissions. The role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for helping students achieve their career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling & Admissions
- Handle student inquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, website forms, and social media platforms.
- Counsel prospective students regarding courses, curriculum, fees, placements, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable training programs. Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Assist students throughout the enrollment and onboarding process.
Lead Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counseling interactions, and admission status.
- Update CRM, Excel sheets, and other reporting systems regularly.
- Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, existing students, and alumni.
- Address student concerns and provide timely resolutions.
- Support student engagement activities and events as required.
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with trainers and internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Participate in educational seminars, webinars, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Contribute to achieving monthly admission and revenue targets.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Student Counseling, Admissions, Customer Support, Telecalling, Sales Coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience in the Education, EdTech, Training, or Skill Development industry will be preferred.
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, Google Meet, and Zoom.
- Ability to manage multiple student interactions and follow-ups effectively. Target-oriented approach with a customer-centric mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an EdTech company, training institute, coaching center, or educational consultancy.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management processes.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
