- Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluation and assess patients' fitness for anaesthesia.
- Review medical history, laboratory reports, and diagnostic investigations before surgery.
- Develop and implement individualized anaesthesia plans based on the patient's condition and surgical requirements.
- Administer general, regional, local, and monitored anaesthesia care safely and effectively.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological status before, during, and after surgery.
- Manage airway and provide ventilatory support as required.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative period.
- Manage pain using appropriate pharmacological and regional anaesthesia techniques.
- Provide post-operative pain management and monitor recovery from anaesthesia.
- Attend and manage emergency cases requiring anaesthesia services.
- Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response teams (Code Blue).
- Provide anaesthesia services in operating theatres, labour rooms, endoscopy suites, ICUs, radiology, and other procedural areas.
- Assist in the management of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where applicable.
- Perform procedures such as arterial line insertion, central venous catheterization, epidural and spinal anaesthesia, nerve blocks, and other procedures within the scope of practice.
- Ensure the anaesthesia workstation, monitoring equipment, and emergency drugs are functional before each procedure.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely anaesthesia records and patient documentation.
- Obtain informed consent for anaesthesia after explaining risks, benefits, and alternatives to the patient or family.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques.
- Comply with hospital policies, NABH standards, patient safety protocols, and ethical medical practices.
- Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise Junior Residents, Medical Officers, Technicians, and OT staff where applicable.
- Participate in teaching, academic activities, CMEs, seminars, and case presentations.
- Attend rotational duties, including emergency calls, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Coordinate effectively with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
