A Quality Control (QC) Assistant inspects products and materials to ensure they meet strict safety and manufacturing standards. They support quality assurance teams by testing samples, calibrating equipment, and meticulously documenting inspection results, helping to prevent defects and maintain overall compliance.
- Inspections: Conduct routine checks on raw materials, works-in-progress, and finished goods to identify flaws.
- Testing: Perform physical, chemical, or mechanical tests using precision instruments (e.g., gauges, calipers).
- Documentation: Log test results, track data, and prepare detailed reports for the QC Manager.
- Compliance: Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure outputs align with ISO or local industry standards.
- Issue Management: Report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly calibrate and clean testing tools to ensure accuracy.
- Common Requirements
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Printing Technology, Chemistry, or Sciences).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency (especially MS Excel), and strong communication skills.
- Physical Ability: Capability to perform basic heavy lifting of samples and stand or walk for extended periods in active manufacturing or lab environments.
