Role description
The role is responsible for supporting land acquisition, land management, and forest diversion activities in the Gadchiroli region. The role focuses on facilitating timely acquisition of land, obtaining required statutory approvals and clearances, ensuring compliance with applicable land, forest, and environmental regulations, coordinating with government authorities and local stakeholders, and addressing land-related issues to support smooth and sustainable project execution.
Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility
Manage land acquisition activities for projects and future business expansion in Gadchiroli including associated admin requirements in initial phase
Facilitate timely acquisition of land by securing required statutory approvals, clearances, and stakeholder alignments in accordance with project timelines.
Coordinate with Revenue, Forest, and District Administration authorities to obtain necessary approvals and resolve land-related matters.
Maintain compliance with applicable land, forest, environmental, and other statutory requirements, while ensuring proper management of land records and related documentation. Manage land records, title verification viz-a-viz records of mutation, 7/12 record, rent receipt, succession record, compensation, and related documentation.
Monitor and drive progress of land acquisition and clearance activities through effective planning, tracking, issue resolution, and reporting mechanisms.
Identify and mitigate land-related, legal, and regulatory risks, and provide regular MIS and status updates to support informed decision-making and project delivery.
Skills
Educational qualifications
(Threshold educational background required to execute the role)
Graduate in any discipline with degree in law
Relevant experience
(Type/ Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role)
Experience in revenue, land management, land purchase and
land acquisition will be given preference.
Knowledge of Marathi language (Reading/ writing/speaking) is preferred
Threshold skills and capabilities required to execute the role
Technical:
- Experience of dealing with welfare measures, stakeholder management. Should be having very good knowledge of land related regulations, MIDC Act, FC Act, PESA Act, Forest Rights Act, LARR Act
