Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Copy Editor & Multimedia Journalist who combines strong editorial judgment with hands-on storytelling skills. This role involves editing, writing, recording, and occasionally reporting stories from the ground. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable polishing copy, recording audio/video, and stepping into the field when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit news and feature stories for accuracy, clarity, tone, and style
- Write and refine original content across digital platforms
- Record video stories for digital and social media use
- Occasionally conduct on-ground reporting, interviews, and fact-checking
- Collaborate with reporters, producers, and video teams to shape multimedia stories
- Ensure editorial standards, ethical guidelines, and deadlines are consistently met
- Adapt stories for multiple formats (text, audio, video, social)
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years of experience in journalism, copy editing, or digital media in known media organizations
- Strong command of English & Hindi language, grammar, and editorial style
- Experience with multimedia storytelling (audio/video recording preferred)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom
- Willingness to do on-ground reporting when required
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Experience in broadcast or digital-first newsrooms
- Comfortable appearing on camera or voice recording
- Knowledge of current affairs and strong news sense

Pay: ₹10,014.29 - ₹41,366.80 per month
